Biography

Mr. Eichenbaum has served as tax counsel for 40 years on various state and local municipal bond financings that have included general obligation bonds, revenue bonds, qualified 501(c)(3) bonds, exempt facility bonds, qualified manufacturing bonds, Tax Anticipation Notes and other working capital financings. Projects have included housing bonds, hospitals, nursing homes and other healthcare facilities, public and private colleges and universities, solid waste and water and sewer facilities. Since 2019, Mr. Eichenbaum has provided tax advice when the Firm has served as co bond counsel to New York issuers, including NYEFC, SONYMA, NYHFA, and NYPA. Mr. Eichenbaum served as tax counsel to 2 of the 5 bond issuances that were part of a $1.3B higher education financing program for virtually all of New Jersey’s colleges and universities.

Mr. Eichenbaum has also provided tax advice to developers regarding low income housing tax credits and has formed and advised 501(c)(3) organizations for over 40 years (including the formation of parent-teacher organizations for each school in a local New Jersey school district).

Mr. Eichenbaum has been a member of the National Association of Bond Lawyers for 40 years. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Association of Bond Lawyers and has also been a member for over 25 years of the Philadelphia 103 Breakfast Group.

Since 2017, Mr. Eichenbaum has volunteered as a Tax Aide with the AARP Tax Counseling for the Elderly Program, where he has prepared tax returns for seniors and others in local libraries. In his spare time, he enjoys Broadway shows and playing pickleball.

Mr. Eichenbaum lives in Camden County, and has been married to his wife Edy for over 40 years.
